Belting It Out

Oh Anjalee, have you been hanging out with Queenie? Did you really think this Léger needed a belt? On the flip side, it did distract us from the tacky bag and shoes for (a tiny, brief) a moment.

Sho(w)(p)lay

Designer Nida Mahmood Autumn/Winter 2009 collection was an ode to Bollywood featuring prints on bags, jackets, blazers. She herself was spotted with the Basanti bag at Olive Delhi coupled with a scarf from the same collection and in Mumbai, restauranteur AD Singh was spotted at LFW wearing the Gabbar blazer.

How do you like your kitsch? In small doses like the bag or bigger a la the blazer?

Lovely In Lavender?

It’s not a look we like (love the color yet the work on it seems so gaudy) and while we aren’t sure a full length pic would help change our minds, it still would be nice to see one…just to make sure. 😉
Update: Now that we’ve seen the full-length, still sticking to our decision. Still don’t like it. Thanks Karishma for the image tip-off.

In Alexander McQueen And Dior

After giving us an Almost earlier in the day, Freida knocked it of the ballpark in a Resort 2011 Alexander McQueen at the Miral premiere at the 54th London Film Festival tonight.

She started the day in a floral shirt with a tan skirt (both Dior) but killed (read:badly) the look with her extreme black sandals. (Why would anyone pair that outfit with those shoes!?!)

No complains for the night look though. Perfection, head to toe. Loved it!

Thanks ‘Rhea/dark and lovely’ for the Dior spotting.

The flared sleeves with the fitted churidaar or the flared sleeves with the sharara bottoms? Which blue retro look do you prefer?
