Leading Ladies

Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) event in Delhi had Bipasha, Kangana and Jacqueline in attendance.

Cover girl Bipasha showed off her hot legs in a lace insert mini paired with a Chanel bag and Jimmy Choo sandals. Kangana went for easy style picking yet another tiered dress with flip-flops and her tan Birkin. Having the most fun though was Jacqueline who started off in a Manish Arora for FNO tee with a mini skirt. She later changed into the Rajesh Pratap Singh for FNO tee.

Got a favorite?

Cover Wars!

Diana covers two September issues in two very different looks. For the Elle cover, it was a natural look with a Tod’s jacket and boots. Grazia had her dressed up in a Moschino jacket, Stella McCartney pants and Just Cavalli accessories.

We are big fans of Grazia covers, but this recent one just felt off. The moving Diana against a stark white background just felt incomplete and unnatural.

Which cover do you prefer?

In Falguni & Shane Peacock

And we have yet another Falguni and Shane Peacock sighting, this time on Eva Marcille Pigford at the 2010 MTV VMAs.

We liked this look but considering the dress was so ott, wish the shoes weren’t.

In Lecoanet & Hemant

Spotted Soniya Mehra in a Lecoanet and Hemant dress recently, one which earned her an ‘Almost‘.

While I appreciate the fact that Soniya wore her hair back to play up the ghungroo accents on the dress, do wish that the accessories she chose weren’t so overwhelming with the look. Tan as a color works but the bag was much too big and the shoes much too chunky for the dress.

The Round Up: Dhobi Ghat Premiere at TIFF

The stars of Dhobi Ghat alongwith director Kiran Rao made an appearance at the premiere of their movie at TIFF on Friday. The men went with bandhgala-style jacket suits with Aamir picking a brown one and Prateik, a black one over a blue shirt.

Of the ladies, Kriti was a favorite of mine looking beautiful in an orange gown that she paired with gold bangles, some lovely gold earrings and a gold clutch. Co-star Monica kept it simple and beautiful in a strapless silver-grey Varsha Bhawnani gown with drop earrings. (Why does this gown look familiar?)

Kiran went short in a black & white Pankaj & Nidhi dress that she paired with an owl Judith Leiber minaudiere and a gold necklace. I wish she had picked one or the other.

I wish we had good full-lengths of all but alas, these are the best I could find. Am quite looking forward to more of Kriti and Monica’s appearances on the red carpet though.
