Underwhelmed- Part Deux!

Do we hear a big loud “Argh!!!”?

Though what I said there, holds true here too but, we figured the ladies deserved their own post. There’s enough of “underwhelm” to go around.

A brunch, yes. Taking in a movie, yes. Going shopping, yes. But to wear to your own screening… NO.

Once the movie was out, did the stylist go, “Ladies you are now on your own”?

Happy Endings?

Update: So, apparently the movie’s official screening is to be at the AIFF and that’s where the ladies will step out in their Red Carpet best.

This is the second time it’s happened and we must say it’s quite disappointing. After giving us several great looks at promotional events, we don’t get why at screenings Sonam kills it for us by giving us the most dowdy appearances.

I would’ve loved the cropped bustier with wide legged pants, a short blazer and some heels but it (the bustier) is so wasted with those cropped pants and that long boyfriend blazer. Is it the burnout effect again???

If you ask us, we are not happy at all with this ending!

P.S. That’s a Lanvin bag on Sonam.

Underwhelmed

Anyone else feel cheated? All those fabulous Manish Aroras/other outfits leading up to the movie, and on the actual screening day, this is all we get?

Sure it was a “screening” and not a full-blown “premiere“. And sure everyone else kept it casual too. But… Considering the integral part clothes play in this movie and the fact that the leading ladies had us all in a tizzy over those promo appearances, couldn’t she have just give us something MORE?

Meh. Am just going to pretend this never happened.
