Last year (in April), Hema along with daughter Esha walked for designer Rocky S at Wills. One would think we would have seen lots more of Hema in his saris.
Eight months later, we finally have a spotting of her in one. The sari is not my cup of tea but dang, Hema looks so beautiful!

Simple saris paired with bright smiles made these two yummy mummies shine on the red carpet. We were really hard pressed to pick a favorite because both just looked so lovely.

Wearing red gowns on a red carpet is pretty pointless (that’s just my opinion). You tend to blend into the carpet and the combo doesn’t make for good pictures.
As for Katrina, by going jewelery-less, she lets the dramatic bow element of the gown take center-stage. But, am not really blown away.

On the runway, the Peacocks presented this net sari with a power shoulder detailed bodysuit. We should be glad that Ms. Godse didn’t wear the sari as it was presented on the runway.
She skipped on the bodysuit to wear the sari with a sequin blouse. Mugdha has had many lows last year and I think in comparison this is a much better look. A lot of you will find the blouse too barely-there but I think Mughda makes it work.
I just wish her bun wasn’t that high. The earrings make for a nice addition.
