One wonders if this wedding invite read “Lehengas Only“. What was even more intriguing was that we mostly saw twos of every color, be it a gold, a white, or an icy blue one.

Aishwarya was a sight for sore eyes at this reception (for reasons that you’ll find out when we post more) in her simple pink suit. Some may not like the inverted v-pattern but after the numerous heavy-duty anarkalis, this was a refreshing change.

P.S. I can’t place but I feel we’ve seen her in this before. Catch a pic of the cut-out detail on the back, inside.

Update: ‘MSR’ reminds us that we’ve seen this on Ash back in 2007.

Ms. Mukherjee channeled her inner Bong in a red and whitelehenga with traditional bangles. This look wouldn’t have been so bad if not for the ill-fitted skirt. (It reminds me of days when I had to make do with a two sizes-too big sari petticoat that wouldn’t fit and tightening it would make it flare out like the skirt below.)

P.S: We think Rani is quite possibly in Anuradha Vakil.
