Katrina unveiled the Sexiest People issue of FHM magazine today in Mumbai in a gold embellished satin Miguel . I didn’t mind the front detailing (very reminscent of McQueen) but the gold lines at the back got a bit much.

Ms. Mirza stayed in her comfort zone picking a jersey Blumarine maxi for the green carpet of IIFA Rocks. She also performed in the show (pics of which you can find inside).
As always she kept it simple but I guess I was expecting a bit more. Perhaps, she brings it at the awards ceremony tommorow.

It’s a bummer we don’t have a good front profile pic of Maria because I love the scalloped dress on her. Looks like she opted to not carry a clutch.

Also at the Mac Cosmetics Party was Amrita Puri who opted for an all-black look. It’s a pity the lace top didn’t make more of an impact; we thought it (the top) was exquisite.
As much as we loved the top, it was a ‘Not Quite’ as far as the whole look went. The strong red lips just weren’t enough to break up all that black. Ordinarily, there’s no such thing as too much black but Ms. Puri seems to be rather overwhelmed. As trite as it sounds, different hair would’ve made a difference.

Genelia picked a Spring 2010 Nachiket Barve dress with an asymmetric hemline (she does seem to favor those). This collection had amazing gowns and dresses (see here) and we are glad to see someone finally wear something from it.
Except, wish she had tied the hair back to show the neckline and worn some other pair of sandals. (I just don’t like such sandals.)
