Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour 2011 started off last night in Mumbai with shows by Neeta Lulla & Raakesh Agarvwal. Esha was the showstopper for Neeta wearing a black corset/skirt with tiered train. Raakesh’s showstopper was Jacqueline who wore a strapless jewelled pink gown.

We may not care for the design on Esha (it’s just not our taste) but have to mention Esha herself looked good. Jacqueline as usual was smokin’.

Saw a lot of white recently!

At the Bridal Week Asia do, the ladies went with all-white dresses (Neena and Anjalee even had the same Gucci belt on albeit in different colors). On the other hand, at the Melange event both Pinky and Pratima worked white-and-red. Have a favorite stand-out look?

Mommy-to-be Lara walked the runway at the finale show of IIJW in a pale pink lehenga but don’t blame us for finding the look a wee bit lackluster. We blame the hair do and the fact that the lehenga doesn’t let the jewellery stand out.

Coordinating with the twig-like floral neck-piece in a red floral embroidered gown with flowers in the hair was Sonam Kapoor on the final night of India International Jewellery Week. Don’t care for the neck-piece much, but love the chiffon gown on her.

Off The Runway

Sonam and Lara walked the ramp on the final day of IIJW but were styled very differently. Off ramp though was a different story. Maxis paired with oversized hobo was the dress code for both. Question is, do we prefer one over the other?
