A White Out vs A Black Out!

Sameera and Kangana decided to go monochromatic recently, except neither could make it work!

Sameera as usual had to screw up with bad footwear. Kangana’s satin bustier could’ve worked if she just hadn’t paired it with cotton pants that although were black, they were a totally different shade! A contrast like that neither looks good in person nor in pics.

Is There Such A Thing…

… as wearing a Sari bad? There must be because Miss Afghanistan, Vida Samaszai sure makes it seem that way! Now, we totally do appreciate her for wearing a Sari, don’t see too many of those anymore, but its just the way she wears them… too much of sexuality and not enough of grace.

I think our favorite non-Indian to wear a Sari continues to be Liz Hurley, only cause she does it with so much ease, grace and poise!

Tied And Dyed

None of us are strangers to ‘tie-dye’, but I shudder to think it can be worn the way Fergie did! For me it was way overdone and tacky but I do know of some people who think it was hippie-chic and that she pulled it off… I of course beg to differ, what do you all think?

I love the way Berardi did ‘tie-dye’ for Spring 08 ready to wear… now thats the way to do it! Love.

Feed 2

We told you about Feed bags a while ago, and now there’s Feed 2!

‘FEED 2’ bags not only raise awareness about child hunger, but also raise funds for the UN World Food Programme’s school feeding program. Each FEED 2 bag sold, provides a year’s worth of lunch meals in school for two children in need. (Feed 2 bag has a number 2 on it to represent the two children it will feed) And, the bag is made from 100% organic fair-trade material and is fully reversible.

What a great cause!
