Handloom cotton saris are what Amala favors most not that we are complaining because they do look nice. But, wish she had dressed a lil’ more for the Filmfare awards (on right).

In what seemed like a Tarun Tahiliani sari, Anushka attended the 58th Idea Filmfare awards. I liked that she didn’t over-accessorize the busy sari and stuck to just jhumkas.

We saw many ladies in pink saris at the Filmfare South Awards but not everyone was a favorite. Samantha was pretty in her pink embroidered sari but the pearl tasseled halter blouse just killed it for me.
It’s odd that of the lot, it was a pink sari paired with a sequin blouse that won it for me (Kriti) and only because she just wore it so well. The other two I am not even going to bother writing about. You can see how bad their saris were.

Update: It was a stage outfit (see here. But, that still doesn’t explain the clutch.
2nd Update: Those were passes in her hand. 😛 Phew!
I really really hope that this was a stage outfit on Divya and also because I did read that she performed today. But, then why would she be carrying a clutch for a stage outfit? (Scratching head…)
If it isn’t a stage outfit, my friends, I think we’ve got ourselves a WTHeyyy!
