Bibhu Mohapatra, Spring 2013

Bibhu Mohapatra delivered another collection that was rich in cocktail and evening-wear. And we are bound to have celeb sightings in a dress or two. Our favorites however were the printed pieces. A print that referenced a butterfly’s metamorphosis and use of rich saturated color to offset it (the print) was a hit. Love that entire Row Two.

Vera Wang, Spring 2013

Marchesa wasn’t the only one to draw its inspiration from India for Spring 2013. Vera Wang did too, in a far more subtler way however. By way of colors, textures, fabrics and technique, the collection referenced India.

Loved the Chantilly lace, sheer-hem dresses; those gorgeous lil’ numbers need to be seen on this side of the pond.

In DvF

As it was styled on the model, Anu too paired her DvF sequin top with navy pants and black pumps. A metallic Stella McCartney clutch completed her look.

I don’t expect edgy from Ms. Dewan, but it’d be great to see her at least change up the hair every now and then.

In Halston Heritage

Not the biggest fan of this satin flutter-sleeve dress. Neck-up, no complaints; she looked good! And those steel toe pumps… Love.

In Masaba

In decidedly festive colors, the designer and her muse (both wearing Masaba) posed for the photogs at the Press Meet. Colors aside, like the outfits?
