It was a Payal Khandwala outfit for the director at her movie’s premiere. Also at the premiere was the designer herself, wearing her own. Between the director and the designer, whose turn on the Red Carpet do you prefer?

We’ve said before that Payal is her own best ambassador… And at the premiere, was the one to fare better.

Both these lovely ladies picked saris to wear at the premiere, Bipasha a pink and yellow Masaba and Tabu, an ombré Nachiket Barve.

Have a favorite? They both wear theirs well but I preferred Tabu’s look a wee bit more. Not the biggest fan of ombré saris but Tabu looked goood. Love that cut-out blouse on her!

And to no one’s surprise, also in Sabyasachi at the premiere was Vidya Balan.

The beautiful may have picked an anarkali instead of a sari but aside from the cheery color, it was meh. Won’t for just once Ms. Balan experiment with a different silhouette?
