Not everyone wore desi to the Bachchan do… Among those who didn’t were Ameesha and Prachi, both in Halston Heritage. They even finished out their looks with similar platform pumps.

While the color looked great on Ameesha, Prachi had this one hands-down. Her Halston Heritage looked stellar on her and the severe hair made for a welcome change.

Keeping it simple in a Tarun Tahiliani kaftan and a kundan necklace by Anmol Jewellers was Shilpa. Part of me is on the fence about Shilpa in a kaftan cuz it seems a tad casual for the event in question. But then, after seeing some of the blingy outfits and tacktastic saris, one begins to appreciate the simplicity of this look.
