Between her two recent appearances, it was easy to peg the AND outfit (below, right) that Dipannita wore to the book launch as the relative favorite. I say relative only because while the look was better in comparison, the bed-head hair just came off looking too sloppy/unkempt and overwhelmed the look.

Ms. Fernandez does gold in a Shantanu-Nikhil gown on the Feb cover of Hi! Blitz. Having not been a fan of the net and balloon design, am glad Hi! Blitz focuses on the ornate bodice for the cover.

The Long And Short Of It

At an event held by Sotheby’s to celebrate Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s India Fantastique, Shweta wore an intricately embellished dress by the designer duo. Tousled hair, red lips and black pumps finished out her look.

You may recall her wearing a heavily embellished gold Abu Sandeep for her father’s birthday celebrations where she looked pretty darn good. This time around however, she wasn’t quite able to recreate the same effect. The dress just didn’t work on her. Hair and make-up only added to her woes.

With Grammys around the corner, I can’t help but think how perfect this dress would be for stage.
