While co-star Shruti went black, Huma gave us color in a green Ridhi Mehra maxi. While the coral earrings were a good pick, what didn’t work for the look was the maxi itself. Neither was the length working nor the horizontal striped bodice with the oddly placed floral appliques.

For the Delhi leg of D-Day promotions it was a Siddartha Tytler for Shruti. The beaded gown isn’t our cup of tea, but she wore it well. And, in a case of ask and you shall receive, we finally got a look where the hair was pulled back. It really made the look stand out.

If it’s jersey (or even one-shouldered) and a Ramani, you can guarantee that Ms. Kapoor has been spotted in it. Don’t believe us, take a look at the past few appearances of Ekta’s at several events.
We already know when she likes something, she wears it any which way and variation she can. Yep, we’re convinced those are actually two different pink gowns and that is not the same black tie and dye maxi tugged up lungi -style (although we won’t blame you for thinking so.)
Oh, Ms. Kapoor, as a powerful woman who pretty much runs the show business, wish you’d represent better when it came to your outfits. We still aren’t giving up hope.

The ladies both picked high-waisted full skirts for their respective appearances, with one taking a more dressed-down, casual route.
At a magazine’s latest issue launch, its cover girl, Alia paired the skirt with a cropped top and a Topshop jacket (one which we’ve seen on Sophie too). Louboutins and a ponytail finished out her look.
For her movie screening, Huma took a decidedly more casual approach by pairing hers with stockings, tank and a cardi. A ponytail, roomy bag and printed flats finished out her look.
Dressed-up or dressed-down… Have a favorite? We sure can’t pick one. While there’s stuff we like and dislike in both looks, neither jumps out at us. Both could do better!
