They might have gone the gown route but both Charmme and Yaami failed to make an impact. Instead of looking lady-like, they seemed more like high-school kids headed to the prom. Those sandals on Yaami particularly make me cringe.

Samantha, who was a double winner at the Filmfare South Awards, opted for a navy Tadashi Shoji. With the gown featuring a busy neckline, going the the hair up route with diamond danglers was a good move on her part. But, there was still something amiss.
The look needed a stronger lip (perhaps a berry shade) and better footwear. The black ankle straps were too boring.
