In Busan for the Film Festival, Shahana attended the premiere of her movie ‘Vara: A Blessing’ in a black Indian by Manish Arora lehenga.

She also won the Marie Claire Asia Star Best Actress Award, collecting her award in a red Arpita Mehta sari. She looked great in both but it seems like the Arpita blouse didn’t quite sit on her right.

It was a busy night for Ms. Kapoor who made an appearance not only at a charity event but also at the India Gem and Jewellery Awards and with both looks she kept it simple.

Of the two though, the gown was an instant favorite. That is not to say she looked bad in the suit, its just that the fall of the pants were off and the closed toe pumps weren’t working either.

P.S. She is wearing a Prabal Gurung suit and a Dolce & Gabbana gown.

In Vaishali S

Vidya picked a Vaishali S dress(?) for a recent store launch. Okay, so we are appreciative of the fact that Ms. Balan is branching out. Baby steps it may be but props to her for attempting to tote that line between her safe personal aesthetic and experimenting with choices. But that said, we can’t find anything that justifies this look. The hair, the jewelry, the outfit, it’s all a tad too much, just so stuffy!

It’s a jewelry store launch, chances are you are going to be plied with jewelry and photographed. Why then pick that dress, that neckline, then wear that necklace? Yeah Vidya, at this point, we’d just throw up our hands too!
