The launch of Alvira and Ashley Rebello’s store Ahakzai had quite a few celebs in attendance, some dressed up, some doing saris and some keeping it casual in denims like the ladies below.

Of the three, Karisma fared the best of the three keeping it simple in a See By Chloe top and basic boot-cut denims. Neither was Maheep’s navel-baring crop-top/cropped blazer look quite working nor that gigantic belt that Ms. Khan chose to wear with that cheery yellow blazer.

Tanya sightings are far and few between but today was our lucky day. She attended the Ahakzai store launch wearing denim leggings with a short top, a combo we’d otherwise frown upon but she made it work. It also helped to pair the look with an attention-grabbing blazer.

Mini, who also has started a line of handloom saris, attended a store launch wearing a Raw Mango. Also in attendance was Maria (also wearing Raw Mango).

For the Delhi round of movie promotions, it was a color-blocked Hervé Léger for Ms. Ranaut. Not the best pictures but what I do see leaves me underwhelmed. The bandage dress on Kangna seems both unexpected and a cop out; not a fan.

Two back to back appearances saw Shaheen doing bright neon colors, one in a sari by Mandira Bedi and the other in a blazer.

Of the two, much preferred the denims look. The neon sari didn’t photograph too well under all that flash and wearing the hair down seemed to add to its woes.
