It was a busy day for Kareena who after attending the Mid-day Tropy race made an appearance at the Umang concert where the trailer of her next movie was shown.

For the appearance it was a colorblocked Shivan and Narresh sari worn with a pair of Manish Arora for Amrapali earrings.

The day look was a hard act to follow and am glad it wasn’t upstaged by this appearance. She looked nice in the sari but it wasn’t as spectacular as the dress look.

Wearing a green Roberto Cavalli gown, Katrina attended the 2014 Umang Police show. Apart from the color, I don’t like this gown one bit. The material isn’t very flash-friendly or flattering either with the way it clings to the skin.

Umang, a concert for the Mumbai Police is a yearly event that sees major stars and celebs in attendance and some even performing.

Shilpa attended this year’s show wearing a Manish Malhotra with gold accessories that matched the sequin gold borders of the pink anarkali.

I really like the simple suit, but I think Shilpa should’ve opted for a less gaudy clutch.

Kareena, who was the guest of honor at the Mid-day Trophy race, attended the day event wearing an Ashish N Soni dress. The halter neck dress featuring contrasting white on black and black on white print was finished out with nude Prada slingbacks and a pair of Tom Ford sunnies.

Loved the look from head to toe!

Alia attended the music launch of her upcoming movie ‘Highway’ wearing a MapxencaRS satin jacket with a pair of hounds-tooth pants and a white high-neck blouse.

Oh boy! To say that the look was bad would be an understatement.

P.S. Catch Sonakshi in a sequin version of the MapxencaRS jacket below. The exaggerated shoulder works for a stage costume. Not in real life.
