Deepika sparkled on the Zee Awards red carpet wearing a Naeem Khan gown from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection, her 3rd look from it so far. See her other two here and here

Giving us our second look of the night featuring head-jewellery, she added a pearl matha patti complementing the cream sequin gown with smoky eyes finishing out her look.

I like the idea of mixing it up but at first glance, the look felt too gimmicky.

After a string of appearances in gown, the original ‘Desi Girl’ went desi at the Zee Cine Awards wearing a Jade sari.

The tissue material really didn’t photograph well and the look ended up looking much too OTT. We weren’t fans.

Sonakshi went for an offbeat look at the Zee Cine Awards wearing a Gauri and Nainika gown. In terms of hair, we haven’t seen her takes much risks but that changed tonight when she opted for a super straight do featuring a Manish Arora for Amrapli spiked headband.

Finishing out her look was a Valliyan midi ring and a Manish Arora for Amrapali bangle.

It’s probably just me but the gown with its black lace detail gives this 80’s punk bride-wannabe feel. All that’s missing here are some torn lace gloves.

How are you feeling about this look on Ms. Sinha? Still a bit safe? Just edgy enough?

For Sonal, it was a black Shivan & Narresh gown featuring aptly placed cutouts. You’ll remember that Freida wears the same gown for a KWK episode that is yet to be screened.

Now that I’ve seen the back of the gown, I feel that it is a better fit for a sexier do like a GQ Awards soiree rather than the Zee one.

Event appropriate or now, she does work the heck out of the gown.
