Asin, who we haven’t seen on these pages for quite a while now broke the dry spell with a very colorful Arpita Mehta sari. A ponytail, cocktail ring and black box clutch finished out the look. Though it’s a whole lot of color and graphic detail to take in when you first look at it, it works. Props to Asin for wearing it without getting overwhelmed in it.

Tamannaah attended day two of SIIMA wearing a red Tarun Tahiliani . Wearing her hair up, she finished off the look with a gold necklace. With the lehenga being so dramatic given its volume, it was a good move to keep everything else simple. She looked lovely.

Nargis attended a skin care promotional event wearing a dress by Neelu Oberoi made from real 1 rupee coins.

Now, the coins on the dress may just be chump change, but was the end result worth more?

We think with a different pair of sandals, this look would’ve been better.
