Newly weds Aftab and Nin walked the SIIMA red carpet with Nin in a JJ Valaya. With the paisley work detail, we would have rather seen her hair worn to the back and perhaps a different clutch. We know Nin was just trying to match the clutch to the sash, but we just find the sash itself very out of place.

Opting for black again, Huma posed for the photogs in her Rohit Bal on the SIIMA red carpet. Gold earrings, a punchy red lip and velvet potli finished out her look. Coming so close on the heels of her previous appearance, this look might seem a tad repetitive… But that minor detail aside, Huma looked good!

Her potli is by Namrata Kumar Couture Accessories and her jewellery is from Vaitaanika.

Day two of SIIMA saw Amala in a black Sonaakshi Raaj sari gown and jewellery from Suhani Pittie. I’ve got to admit the cuff pick was a great one. It’s eye catching without being too distracting.

My only gripe about this look: the phone. As much as it coordinated with the look, it had no place on the red carpet. It made a 10 on 10 look more of a 9.8.

On day two of SIIMA, Shriya gave us another sighting of a velvet Sabyasachi sari, hers being a black one though. I really want to like this look but the way Ms. Saran is carrying the pallu to showcase it, makes it look more awkward than effortless.

I also think given all that workmanship on the sari, the earrings felt to overwhelming. Just me?

Trisha attended day two of SIIMA wearing a gold Monisha Jaising gown, one that we’ve seen on Mehr in person and Priyanka in film.

As phenomenal as she looked, given how flashy the gown was, we don’t think the spiked pumps was needed here. Also wish she’d carried a clutch instead of the phone in hand.
