Elena Kazan, a German-Russian actor who has made Mumbai her home, recently appeared in a Filipino movie that was screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
Considering a festival circuit normally sees folks go for the most eye-catching outfit, Elena surprised (in a good way) by opting for simple Anavila looks. I just wish the drape was just an inch higher.

Regina attended the audio launch of Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham on Saturday wearing a Shilpa Reddy design featuring a white sari (or is that a half-sari?) and a red sleeveless waist-coat style blouse. Wearing the sari with Mrinalini Chandra statement earrings and ring, she finished out the look with a sleek middle-parted do.
I had two minor gripes about this look. First, she should’ve gone either/or with the two pieces of jewellery and second, the loose draping (or is that the pre-stitch effect?) of the davani/odhni made her look bottom heavy in a few pics.
Other that that, she looked great. You like?

Wearing Sabyasachi Couture, Kareena attended the inaugural ceremony of a hospital today finishing out the look with a matching Sabyasachi clutch.
The look needed restraint and that’s just what she gave us by skipping on jewellery and adding just a bold lip to the mix.
She looked regal! Love!
