This awards season, Ms. Fernandez has been going the unconventional gowns route and at the Star Screen Awards we saw yet another one. With its pleated origami style bust and velvet skirt, this Fall 2014 Giorgio Armani gown was as off-the-beaten-path as it could be.

Keeping the look non-fussy was a good move, any more jewellery or bling and we might have had ourselves a WTHeyyy. As you’ve probably inferred already, am not a fan of the gown.

Sophie was quite the picture of elegance at the Screen awards red carpet in her one-shouldered Mayyur Girotra Couture gown. Coordinating with the white and red gown, she finished out the look with red lips, soft wavy hair and a white Halston Heritage oblong minaudiere.

If not for the visible lining of her innerwear, this look would’ve been a perfect 10. As is though, it’s more of a 9.5.

In her electric blue Amit Aggarwal gown, Sapna shined on the red carpet of the Screen Awards. The strapless gown was styled with a wavy hairdo, jewellery from Gehna and a Metamorphosis clutch.

We’ve had hits and misses when it comes to Amit Aggarwal’s gowns on the red carpet but this one was a definite hit! Loved it!

Deepika did desi at the Screen Awards wearing a black lehenga sari from Jade with jhumkis from Amrapali and a gold toned Bottega Veneta knot clutch. After her recent missteps on the red carpet, this was a much needed turnaround. She looked lovely.

Wearing a Gauri and Nainika gown, Priyanka attended the Screen Awards tonight in Mumbai with earrings from Outhouse and a Farah Khan Fine Jewellery ring.

An understated touch is what this gown needed and that is what we got. She looked fabulous!
