Akshara attended the IIFA 2015 press meet wearing a Payal Khandwala skirt with a casual shirt and blue cami and gold earrings finishing out the look. Instead of wearing the wider belt shown on the runway, she swapped it out for a skinnier one.

This is the first time her outfit feels like it hasn;t been forced on her or that she is playing dress up. She looked comfortable and owned it. Might I also add that I quite liked it.

In Zara

Dia and Sonakshi both sported Zara’s dragonfly print at their events but a bit differently. While Dia wore the top with a black pencil skirt, Sonakshi opted to wear her printed skirt with a black top.

Can’t say it was instant love for both but between the two, the finishing touches on Dia felt odder. Didn’t care for her hairdo or that layered necklace which felt a bit tweenish.

Shilpa attended the first ever Television Style Awards hosted by Colors wearing a pink Monisha Jaising sari gown. Hair in an updo, she finished out the look with diamond jewellery.

Not only did she wear the gown well, what I love here more is the hair do. Made for a great change.

Of Fashion Week Sightings

The night before the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week, Kangana was spotted with Kalyani wearing a Bibhu Mohapatra floral dress with a bright orange coat, red clutch and beaded white pumps.

A few days later, Vogue editor Anaita IG’d a pic of herself with Kangana and Bibhu. One would’ve expected Kangana to be in a Bibhu here but instead the actor was spotted wearing a Red Valentino tee.

Wish we had a better pic of the latter appearance. Heck, wish we had all the pics from Kangana’s Paris trip. 🙁

Of Separates

The cast of Qissa attended Q-Fest on Sunday where Rasika was seen in a linen Anavila long tunic shirt and flared maxi skirt. At first glance, I wasn’t a fan of the separates but the more I look, the more I warmed up to it and the credit goes to the finishing touches. The mirrored boho bag, the earrings and the fish braid help make the separates pop a bit more.
