Wearing a sheer halter-style Madison dress, Anindita attended a recent store launch. Skipping jewelry, she finished out the look with a bright lip and black sandals. Besides us not being sold on the dress, it was pretty evident that it wasn’t doing much for Ms. Nayar either; was quite unflattering. Perhaps next time will be the charm.

The Hyderabad edition of the Times Food Guide Awards saw Lakshmi in a Not So Serious by Pallavi Mohan dress. Wearing the crochet lined dress with a a strand of Chanel pearls, her look was finished out with a pop of color which came via a pair of pink Coach flats.
I get that the modification to expose the crochet was made to make the dress more interesting but am just not a fan of it. And, as timeless as Chanel beads are, a mix of long and short pearl strands would’ve made the look stand out more. The single strand didn’t really add much to the look.
