Wearing a lilac Michael Cinco gown, Ms. Khan attended an event as part of IIFA festivities in Malaysia last evening. With her hair in a wispy updo, she finished out the look with Farah Khan Ali jewelry and Louboutins. Though the color didn’t photograph too well under the lights, it was easy to see Malaika looked fantastic; we like.

(Good thing we don’t see more of the shoes. The little peek we did get were enough to indicate they were much too heavy for the very feminine dress.)

It was a voluminous Urvashi Joneja gown for Aditi, one that she wore with a sleek top knot and a strong red lip. Skipping on all jewelry, she let the bodice of her gown be the highlight of her look. Combined with the make-up and the full-skirted silhouette, we couldn’t help but think Ms. Hydari looked like a wide-eyed ingénue. She wears the look well; Aditi looked nice.

Wearing colorful, printed Neha Agarwal separates, Ms. Dhupia attended the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza in Malaysia last night. A matching yellow clutch and sparkly gold pumps finished out the actor’s look. Though for most part Neha can pretty much sell us whatever she wears, this look felt rather lacking. The skirt didn’t make for the most flattering silhouette. And while the blue makes for a nice contrast, in this case the crop-top felt one element too many.

Lauren gave us two looks on day two first in a colorful Hemant & Nandita maxi and then in a sheer Sonaakshi Raaj gown. Barring the chunky sandals that felt too heavy with the black gown, she looked nice in both. But, I have a feeling the fringe maxi may not have many fans.

Day two of IIFA saw Bipasha in a Sonaakshi Raaj sheer creation. If there was anyone who could pull off the J-Lo-esque sheer sexy look this side of the ocean, it would be Ms. Basu but even ignoring the huge Zuhair Murad influence ( see here), we couldn’t really bring ourselves to get on board with the look.

The uneven lining was rather distracting as was the fact that the sheer material was a few shades too light than Bipasha’s skintone and made the look odd. Neck up though, she looked great.
