Genelia picked a pastel colored Shyamal and Bhumika featuring gold embroidery. This is an outfit that with the right finishing touches would’ve looked nice but it didn’t here. The orange toned red lips felt too garish and the earrings and pumps only amplified the OTT.

The only thing good here was her 1000 watt smile but even that could’ve salvage the look.

Sonam attended Shahid and Mira’s reception wearing a gorgeous Anuradha Vakil anarkali. As pretty as the suit was, I wish she’d skipped on the choker. I look at the pics and find myself having a sensory overload. Just me?

Kriti attended Shahid and Mira’s reception wearing a Sonaakshi Raaj dhoti-gown with nude leggings. This much gold in a look would normally make us shoot down a look instantly but we find ourselves quite liking it. She looked good and the credit goes to the hair and make-up. It helped balance the look.

Like the bride, Alia also did blue and white wearing a Manish Malhotra lehenga but hers was a more simple design. I am a bit conflicted about the look. Alia looked sweet but I thought the top was too mature. By that I don’t mean she should’ve gone for an itsy-bitsy choli but perhaps a design that was a happy medium.
