Regina wore a Payal Singhal on day one of SIIMA festivities with jewellery from Amrapali. If you’re scratching your head figuring out this outfit, you are not alone. I am as well. Is that a sari, a lehenga or a tulle gown passing for both?

Don’t get us wrong, we love a lot of Payal’s stuff, but we won’t be adding this one to that list. Waist up, Regina looked nice but I still can’t get my head around how badly finished the bottom portion is.

In Kotwara

Amy tried to go give us a regal look at SIIMA in a Kotwara sharara and I say tried because while I appreciate the effort, it didn’t quite translate well on the red carpet.

The color combo as well as the pattern felt rather incohesive and now that I’ve spotted the drawstring (or naada as you might call it), I can’t believe she wore it that long.

In Rajat K Tangri

Shriya walked the red carpet on day one of SIIMA wearing a white gown by Rajat K Tangri. In theory, between the bold lip and the white gown, I should like this look, but I don’t. And I blame the hair here. The extreme curls made for a really dated ‘do.

A soft updo or even a messy braid would’ve made a world of a difference here.

In Kommal Sood

Shruti attended the day one event of SIIMA wearing a Kommal Sood gown, one that we’ve also seen on Deeksha last year. Wearing her hair up in an updo, she gave the look a more vintage touch by adding a feather headpiece and sporting a subtle smoky eye.

I have no complaints about this look, she looked lovely!

In Payal Singhal

Esha seemed to have arrived in Dubai after vacationing at a beach somewhere because she was sporting a serious tan. Problem was, the bright pink lip came off looking rather garish against it and didn’t quite help her look in the lace Payal Singhal lehenga.

We didn’t think she could ever have an off day, but guess we all falter at some point or the other.
