Sarah Jane attended an event at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival wearing a Shift dress over a pair of skinny denims and Clarks boots finishing out the look.

Given how sheer the skirt portion was, we get why she went with the denim pairing. It was a risky move but one that she wore well. Not many can pull off the dress on denims look. I can count myself out, for one. 😛

Wearing a printed Ash Haute Couture top with palazzo pants by Tarun Tahiliani, Lakshmi helped inaugurate an exhibition in Hyderabad recently.

She looked cute but we have to add, those palazzos needed to be paired with kitten heels or casual sandals instead of those ballet flats.

At the audio launch of the Telugu movie Shivam, leading lady Raashi was seen in a Shilpa Reddy crop top and maxi skirt. I love the finishing touches here especially how the hairdo highlights the Kiara earcuff. My minor gripe with this look is with the crop top. The vertical line cutting right through the breasts made for a very odd look.

Just me finding it the top odd?

At the taping of a special edition of Indian Idol, Mini was seen in a white Manish Malhotra. Keeping it simple, she wore her hair down and picked relatively simple jewellery to go with the sequin gown.

Keeping It Casual

In Pune for the launch of a song (from her upcoming movie), Deepika kept it casual in a light-pewter tunic and distressed white pants. Assorted gold-tone jewelry, a brown belt and animal-print flats finished out her look.

Given how long the tunic was, wearing it partially tucked in didn’t quite work. She might have been going for ‘casual-cool’ but pairing the two only looked odd. We’d have either picked a different pair of pants or a different top.
