Tamannaah wore a sequin red sari by Manish to his Diwali party which came with a darker shade ruffle blouse. Where do I even start? A) I don’t get how you pair that jhatak a sari with a velvet blouse ruffle blouse. Makes no sense. B) A contrast jewel is most effective when you’ve got two colors. Here, with the sari being a red and the blouse a darker one, we had three shades in play and each color fighting for attention.

Don’t even get me started on the drape.

Shilpa wore a Manish Malhotra sari gown to the Diwali party at his house and I have to ask if everyone lives in an echo chamber in Bollywood. Who thought that this bust design was a good one? Like what is even happening?!? This was another sighting that had me quite exasperated!

Disha wore a metallic brown sari featuring an embellished halter blouse to Manish’s Diwali party. You know, I am very open-minded when it comes to draping. A 6 yard is a fluid piece and can be worn however the wearer pleases. But, Ms. Patani here sure tested my boundaries and left me exasperated. Hard No for me!

Diana was seen at the Malhotra Diwali soiree in a gold sequin sari and sleeveless sequin blouse. That is a whole lotta gold and sequin to take in but Ms. Penty wore it so effortlessly, you couldn’t help but like the outfit.
