Deepika was one of the few who did white at the Filmfare Awards wearing an Ashi Studio dress. Neither did I like the dark lips nor the high-low ruffled hemline which at first glance itself had me thinking flamenco-dancer.

While we get the look she was going for and do applaud her for trying something new, the look didn’t quite work on her. A less fussier updo and a more minimalist approach with accessories would have been a start.
