Sari Style

For dashami, Kajol opted for a red and white weave mimicking the Bengali laal paar but she draped it the nivi way. The motifs on the pallu again are confusing me about the source.

Hope y’all can help!

Sari Style

Dashami celebrations saw Rani partake in sindoor khela as she does every year and for this day, she picked a cream jamdani sari draped the atpoure style and paired with gold jewellery. She looked lovely.

Sari Style

Wearing jamdani saris with the similar color motifs, Shweta and Rhea attended Durga Puja festivities. It was nice to see these weaves on them.

P.S. I can’t call them dhakai jamdanis just because yet again, a lot of jamdanis are incorrectly sold as such by vendors and a Dhakai Jamdani is one that is woven in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In Shanti Banaras

Sharvari kept it simple in a light blue sharara from Shanti Banaras while visiting Durga Puja pandal on Friday. She looked nice.

In Torani

Alia partook in Durga Pujga celebrations wearing a red sari from Torani with a blouse different than what the model sported. Like the switcheroo? I liked the original blouse better.
