In Sabyasachi

At a fashion show to raise awareness for cancer, Gautami was seen in a Sabyasachi sari with ear cuffs and a contemporary maang tikka. A Bottega Veneta knot clutch, black Sabyasachi belt and stack of bangles finished out her look. While I love the jewellery and updo here, this sari with that feminine bow blouse needed a softer hairdo. Or maybe she should’ve worn the bow to the back. The look as a whole felt way too busy.

Agree? Disagree?

Sari Style

Katrina and Miheeka celebrated Karwa Chauth wearing saris with the former wearing a red tissue one from Sabyasachi and the later a maroon kanjivararam paired with a red bandhani dupatta. They both looked lovely in it.

In Sureena Chowdhri

Bhavana celebrated Karwa Chauth wearing a purple anarkali sharara set from Sureena Chowdhri. I’ve never warmed up to these long kurta/sharara sets just because the proportions have always looked off to me. Like the outfit?

Sari Style

Mira attended Karwa Chauth festivities at the Kapoor (Anil) household wearing a dhoop chaun (two-toned) sari (Tarun Tahiliani?) featuring a brocade blouse. I wish she hadn’t worn the pallu right down the middle which has become the norm these days but other than that gripe, she looked lovely.
