In Akhl Studio

Shahana attended an event on Friday evening wearing a silver Akhl Studio draped look paired with multi-colored resin bangles, a silver mini bag and silver sandals. Waist above, the hooded drape element looked interesting but the overdose of body shimmer/oil was a bit of a downer. Also I am getting weary of these part sheer-part lined outfits. Wasn’t liking this.

In George Stavropoulus

At an event hosted by a fashion publication, Sonam was seen in a vintage draped gown from George Stavropoulus sourced from Shrimpton Couture. The late New York designer is known for his draped chiffon gowns and dresses and am wondering if Sonam picked this one because of its similarity to a sari. When wearing western, Sonam loves to infuse Indian jewellery and here she added a choker necklace and kangans on both wrists. Loved that she went the vintage route but I need more closeups to decide on whether I like this. Jury is still out on this one.

Update: Now that I’ve seen a few more videos, given that she wore those gorgeous ear cuffs, would’ve loved to see her do a sleek updo. I also think the wide choker necklace was overkill. A simple hasli style neckpiece would’ve worked better. Also, Ms. Kapoor is quite tall so am surprised that the gown was still pooling here.

In Chanel

Ananya attended an event hosted by a fashion publication wearing a Chanel skirt suit from the Cruise 2025 collection paired with lace up sandals. The hair worn down here felt too Bolly/Filmy safe and I wish she’d taken a risk and done a sleek ponytail but that isn’t to say she looked bad. She looked nice.

Jacqueline attended an event on Friday evening wearing a printed top and structured skirt set from Area. Given the high neck, am on the fence about the hairdo here. A top knot or an updo would’ve worked better. What say you?

In Versace

At a n event hosted by a fashion publication, Diana was seen in a one-shouldered pink gown from Versace paired with a tote also from the brand. Don’t have best pics yet but from what I see, waist up she looked nice but didn’t quite like the bag pick. It also seems like the hemline was modified evident by the puckering effect one could see.
