In Anita Dongre

At the 50th anniversary celebrations of a women’s society, Katrina was seen doing desi in an Anita dongre white maxi and chikankari beige long jacket. Given her love for anarkalis or saris at such events, I was surprised to see her in these separates.

And while she looked nice, part of me was left wanting for more color. Perhaps, an all ruby necklace or earrings would’ve worked better here.

Wearing a Hensely pleated dress that featured side-slits, Kareena was photographed as she exited the local airport. Her choice of accessories included a Bottega Veneta tote, which if you have some cash to burn, you can score here. The actor’s off-duty look worked!

Of Gowns

Wearing a glittery illusion gown, Neetu attended a collection preview on Wednesday evening. My boredom with illusion gowns aside, between the blingy bust and the overdone face, there was just nothing to like about this look.

Can a stylist please take Ms. Chandra under their wing? She could do so much better.

In Twos

On Wednesday, Sonal sported two figure hugging dresses, first in a black one while arriving back in Mumbai and then later in a blue one at a collection preview.

Her blue look may have been the more finished one but it was her airport dress that I liked better. Wasn’t a fan of that shiny blue material.

In Erol Albayrak

Wearing Erol Albayrak, Malaika cut a very striking picture on a recent red carpet. Hair and make-up was on point and that molten-metallaic color looked great on Malaika. Sure the dress was just a tad reminiscent of Armani Privé, but that hardly put a dampener on things. She did good!
