Not too long ago, Malaika was photographed heading in to the local airport wearing a floral maxi from Pasha. With her hair in a ponytail, she finished out the look with shades, boots and a Balenciaga tote. Would’ve loved to see a pair of sandals instead of the boots she had on, but the easy maxi on its own did make for a welcome change of pace.

In Isabel Marant

Sussanne was one of fifty folks to be felicitated by Architectural Digest India at a recent soiree hosted by the magazine. The interior designer picked up her awards wearing a one-shoulder Isabel Marant dress with t-strap sandals.

The eighties style dress may not be everyone’s cup of tea but she looked nice. I, for one, sure appreciated that she dialed it down where make-up and jewellery was concerned.

In Twos

Adah gave us two very different looks at IIFA Utsavam this past week, first wearing a sari from her mom’s closet complete with traditional jewellery that included the Oddiyanam (belt) and gajra. On the second night, she kept it simple in a Label D gown that had a plunging neckline.

Just for the finishing touches, I did prefer her in the sari. The gown look felt very same ole same ole.

In Rocky S

Wearing a sheer sari by Rocky S, Divya attended the AsiaSpa Awards on Thursday evening. With the color of the sari being black, the ruffled pallu was rather downplayed and it worked in her favor. She looked nice.

I do wish though she’d added more color to the look. Perhaps a ruby colored clutch as well to go with those Mirari earrings she sported.

In Namrata Joshipura

In her 70s inspired Namrata Joshipura look, Tisca sure surprised us at the AsiaSpa Awards. It’s great to see someone try something different every now and then but the issue here was not with the finishing touches but the outfit itself.

The glittery jumpsuit didn’t photograph well one bit but then can’t say I was a fan of it anyways. Wish Tisca had picked something else from Ms. Joshipura’s collection. This one was just terrible.
