For her appearance at IIFA Rocks, Kalki picked a Sabyasachi sari to wear. With her hair pulled back in to a low knot, pink lip color and pair of simple hoop earrings rounded out the actor’s look.

First, you’d think the ivory would look washed out on her skin tone but that wasn’t the case at all. She looked radiant! That said, the look wasn’t a home-run. We weren’t the biggest fans of the belt. And how we wish she had worn the pallu just a tad wider on the midriff. She looked lovely waist-up but lost us at the drape/styling.

After rain put bit of a dampener on things in New York, Nargis gave us our first sighting of the evening.

Ms. Fakhri chose to keep things simple in a black dress from Intrinsic. With her hair teased in to beach-y waves, the actor finished out the look with Isharya earrings, pink lip color and pair of simple black sandals.

We look forward to this pre-Awards event because it’s just the night to take a few fashion risks. While this appearance doesn’t check that box, Nargis looked nice even if in an entirely safe way. Hopefully she ups that ante tomorrow.

After attending the press meet, Priyanka hosted a screening of Kaay Re Rascalaa on Friday evening in Mumbai wearing a black top with checkered Chola pants and a statement silver necklace from Amrapali.

Considering her hosting duties, comfort was key and this look sure delivered that. She looked good!

At the launch of a jewellery store, Vaani was seen wearing a floral lace trim slip dress paired with a blush pink blazer, both from H&M. We normally see folks do desi at such events but I like that she didn’t go that route. She looked good here.

At the press meet for ‘Kay Re Rascala’, the Marathi movie being produced by her, Priyanka was seen in a green Payal Khandwala jumpsuit paired with a silver necklace and a red lip.

It’s not that Ms. Chopra didn’t look nice. She did. But, having seen her deliver some serious winners while in NY, you can’t help but set the bar a bit higher.

I also wish she’d worn a longer necklace over the jumpsuit.
