Wearing a classic black peplum gown by Gauri And Nainika, Preity walked the green carpet this evening. An updo in place, she rounded out her look with a pair of dramatic diamond earrings.

The look may not stop you in your tracks but it is old school, and it’s effective. It worked for Preity in any case; she looked good.

Giving us our first suit appearance at the IIFA Awards 2017, was Anil Kapoor in an Armani tux, a YSL bow and an Alexander McQueen shirt. Same Old Same Old, it might be, but given the number of misses we have seen lately from men in their suits, we liked this look.

He looked good!

Wearing a Missoni, Kareena attended a book launch on Saturday evening pairing the patterned separates with tassel earrings from Valliyan. I am a huge maximal-ism/going over the top fan thanks to a certain Mr. Michele but this look, I found way too busy.

For her appearance at the IIFA Rocks event, Divya picked an Anju Modi dress to wear. With her hair slicked back, she rounded out the look with an Amrapali maangtika.

Though the turquoise maangtika added an interesting pop of color, would’ve loved to see Suhani Pittie‘s gold-tone somewhat punk-ier maangtika here instead. And while the dress could’ve used wee bit shortening, she wore it well.
