Wearing a Steven Khalil dress, Taapsee attended the IIFAs. Big hair, strappy sandals and jewelry from Renu Oberoi and Narayan jewellers rounded out the actor’s look.

If you’ve been with the blog long enough, you know we’ve never been big fans of the long sheer overlays on shorter dresses/lining. And while Taapsee to her credit fares better than most others would in it, it just wasn’t one of our favorites of the night. And you can chalk that up to our personal taste!

In Rocky S

For the big awards night, Dia picked a printed Rocky S gown. With her hair partly pinned back, she rounded out the look with jewelry from H.Ajoomal and a printed clutch.

That’s a lot of print, and that’s a lot of volume… You’d think Dia would be completely overwhelmed by it but that wasn’t the case at all. The actor brings a certain whimsy to it and it worked for her. The DeBo vibe played out well; Dia looked nice.

In Falguni & Shane Peacock

Wearing a beaded Falguni and Shane Peacock gown, Kanika attended the awards event being held tonight. Her stack of bracelets (which included one by Cartier) aside, the songstress rounded out the look with a pair of silver Jimmy Choos.

Kanika looked good; love that shade of forest green on her. That said, wish she had done something different with her hair, like retro-inspired sharp waves styled to the side. As is, it felt tad too casual for the gown.

Wearing a Reve By Khushali Kumar gown, Tulsi Kumar attended the IIFA Rocks event last evening. For the main awards event underway tonight, the songstress picked Sabyasachi to wear.

Midriff bearing, volume-heavy both looks might have been, but that’s where all similarity ended. Of the two, no prizes for guessing, the appearance in Sabyasachi had our vote. The bodice on Reve…Tacktastic!

Giving gowns a miss, Divya attended the big awards night wearing nude-toned embellished separates. With her hair in an updo, she rounded out the look with striking ruby and diamond jewelry and pair of matching neutral strappy sandals.

Make-up and styling was spot on and there wasn’t much to fault here; Divya looked good!
