For two recent appearances of hers, Vidya picked green-toned saris to wear. For the screening, it was an olive Pinnacle sari. And for a collection launch, she picked a dark-green Gopi Vaid sari. Wearing her hair to the side, she rounded out both looks with signature jewelry.

Of the two, it’s the look in Gopi Vaid that has my vote. The color just worked better on her.

The Bachchan family caught dinner at a local hotel on occassion of Aaradhya’s birthday where Aishwarya was seen wearing a navy off-shoulder Zara dress with a Bvlgari Serpenti bag and her nude Ferragamo pumps.

A simple and effective look despite the red lip that did feel a bit jarring. A berry pink shade wouldn’t have felt so.

This week we are throwing it back to Oye Oye – Gajar Ne from Tridev featuring Madhuri, Sangeeta and Sonam, who made harem pants feel oh so cool long before Kareena did in Mauja hi Mauja! What made the song memorable was not just the tune itself, but the number of stars (including all the villians!) who featured in it.

Oh! And how I loved Sangeeta in her gold number and red outfit. Say aye if you spent countless hours practicing all the moves! 😛

At the screening of Tumhari Sulu, Dia kept it casual wearing a Shahin Mannan dress with white oxfords and a sling bag. We’d recreate this casual look in a heartbeat!

For the taping of Super Dancer on Thursday, Shilpa wore a pink sari by Manish Malhotra featuring silver paillettes on the pallu and on the sleeve of her one-shouldered blouse. Earrings from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery and bracelet from Renu Oberoi Fine Jewellery finished out her look.

A sheer sari especially in a material like this isn’t an easy one to wear. She sure wore it well. That isn’t to say I love the sari. The paillettes on the pallu remind me of scruffy beards that are showcased in comics.
