In Raw Mango

Vidya attended the Star Screen Awards wearing a dull gold Raw Mango sari paired with jewellery from Anmol and Narayan and a potli from Aloha.

I love the sari, love the faux bob on her and when I look at the pics where her arm is hidden, I love the overall look too. It’s when I see the pics with the blouse, where I start feeling otherwise. Raw Mango has loose boxy blouses and I think that would’ve worked better here.

In Tarun Tahiliani

Wearing a Tarun Tahiliani sari, Katrina attended Ambani’s party for visiting Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. As you can see, when she arrived, the sari had come a bit undone, which it seems like she got re-draped later (refer last pic).

I would’ve liked if she’d worn the sari with a plain blouse or even a short sleeved one. The full sleeved blouse and the sari with all that embroidery on the two together felt a bit overwhelming. Having said that though, it was nice to see her sport one. It’s been a while.

In Tanieya Khanuja

Wearing a Tanieya Khanuja, Ileana attended the Star Screen Awards on Sunday evening. Waist up, Ileana looked amazing. The updo and makeup was perfect.

As for the gown though, except for the color, wasn’t much of a fan. The sleeves with the contrasting black lining looked a wee bit comical. I picture the gown without them and love the look so much more.

In Sabyasachi

At a health related conference that she attended, Sridevi wore a royal blue sequined sari by Sabyasachi with polki tear drop earrings and a kundan ring.

It’s unfair to look so good in saris and to always have first dibs on all of his sari’s. Le sigh.

In Pankaj & Nidhi

Taapsee, who performed at the Awards ceremony, walked the red carpet wearing a Pankaj and Nidhi gown featuring a plunging necklince and a waist high slit, the latter which required the shorts. The navy gown was paired a wing-inspired earpiece by Scarlet Sage and rings from Aurelle.

Am on the fence about the lace-up sandals but she did wear the gown well.
