In Aapro

While at a recent store launch, Rasika was photographed in an Aapro dress. Jewelry from Isharya and pair of Zara metallic sandals rounded out the actor’s look.

She wore her dress well. That said, though Ms. Dugal usually favors nude-ish/light/soft colors, this look begged for a stronger lip color (not necessarily dark/dramatic, just a non-nude shade).

Throwback Thursday: Raat Baaki

Back in the day, growing up in the 80s, I was just so enamoured by Parveen Babi as am sure were you. With Mr. Kapoor’s passing away, it only seemed appropriate to revisit this today because while I loved Jawaani Jaaneman for its OTT gold (also from this movie) I liked this a wee bit more because of its subtle glamour.

How amazing does Parveen look in the sequin black gown? There’s your Christmas party inspiration for you, right there!

On an aside and feel free to call me weird, but am getting quite inspired to do the two sari looks worn by the extras! Loving the solid pink on pink and the printed green on green. Look for it at the 1:25 mark and the 3:27 mark.

In Nishka Lulla

Sameera who took a break from the scene after giving birth was spotted at the Reebok Fit to Fight Awards wearing a Nishka Lulla pant suit. The suit didn’t seem as crisp as it should’ve been and I would’ve preferred an oxblood lip but it was great to see her back.

We are looking forward to seeing her more!

In Ralph & Russo Couture

The IWC Gala Dinner on day two of DIFF saw Ms. Kapoor wearing a strapless dress by Ralph & Russo with a silver clutch by the designer duo, silver pumps and diamond drop earrings. Picking up on the mint shade of the dress, the eyes were highlighted with a matching shade as well.

The makeup under the eyes didn’t seem to photograph well but overall she did look stunning.

In Sachin And Babi

Esha wore a Sachin And Babi gown to the Reebok Fit To Fight Awards wearing it with an updo and H. Ajoomal earrings. As you can see the neckline on the runway version was a lot more lower and am surprised Ms. Gupta wore it more conservatively.

I think a bit of double sided tape and she could’ve rocked that too. Like what you see?
