In her Sabyasachi sari, Kangana served up some serious vintage-inspired glamour at Cannes. At first glance, we loved it- There’s something about a timeless sari and a classic bouffant.

But here’s the thing, as much as we love this, for the event in question it just feels too on the nose and dare we add, costume-y. A softer updo and a killer cat-eye would’ve been just as effective.

So, yeah… Love it. Just conflicted given the event in question.

Huma kicked off her day in Cannes wearing a custom corset, white skirt and intricate cape by Varun Bahl paired with statement Suhani Pittie earrings and Malone Souliers mule. The cape and the corset was interesting but wish the skirt didn’t have that train. It was too much plain material and distracted from the bustier and cape.

On her way to Cannes for the Film Festival, Kangana was spotted at the airport wearing a Tibi top and skirt with a Tod’s bag and mules. The black top may have come off looking a bit odd because of the camera flashes but there is no denying she looked good!
