In Romona Keveza

Host of Bravo’s Top Chef, Padma Lakshmi literally glowed on the Emmy Awards red carpet wearing a strapless Romona Keveza. A satin gown is very very hard to pull off but what works in her favor is that color. A bold red lip and a pair of diamond chandelier earrings completed her fabulous red carpet look.

Am still picking up my jaw from the floor.

  1. She’s had a baby. Her tummy will never be the same. But this is the way you dress and look classy (not trashy) to an event. Minor detail- I would have suggested gold earrings with that warm tone, though.

  2. Padma Lakshmi looks amazing. That color looks FABULOUS on her!!

On a side note, how come you guys never ever cover Mindy Kaling on these pages? She looked soooo gorgeous at the Emmys!!!

    • YES! Mindy killed it. And generally looks incredible – she does colour so well and knows what suits her frame. And she’s just all-round awesome and inspiring and smart and….okay I should stop fangirling right about now.

  3. I think she looks lovely. The colour, fit and poise seems ethereal. As for the comments on tummy fit, well, its shocking really how people search for non existing body perfection. This is a real body.perfect in its Imperfections and beautiful. If you want perfection photoshop.

    • The fit of the DRESS at the tummy area is not nice. At the chest as well.
It is NOT about whether she has a fit tummy per se. Let’s not comment on people’s body, its only about the clothes they wear. None of us is perfect, none of us is imperfect too.

      • By commenting on the “fit” of the dress you cannot disconnect it from the body. It does seem to be nitpicking and drawing attention to her body. I suppose it’s individual too coz to me she looks lovely and it’s perfectly fine to have it not “fit perfectly” as it doesn’t take away from the look. Also the last statement seems pretty redundant to me but anyway back to the clothes.
