On An Aside
Hey Everyone!
Priyanka and I wanted to touch base with you all.
As you know, the content that we provide is directly affected by the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. You are going to see a slowdown in our daily posts. To keep you entertained, we will try to cover some past appearances that we haven’t already.
We hope that if you are able to practice physical distancing/self-quarantining, you are doing just that. We are thankful to all the folks in the healthcare industry, who are working non-stop to ensure everyone gets the best healthcare during these times. Also to all the folks who are still working to help ensure that our daily lives go about as usual.
We also want to remind you to check on the elderly and others who are negatively impacted and do what you can to help.
As always, find more information regarding COVID-19 here.
How thoughtful!
I look forward to your critique on some βblast from the pastβ posts…. especially circa 2000s and late 90βs to which so many of us relate to π
That would be fun:)
thanks for this post. you guys take care too.
Take care P and P! Hope all the paprazzi will be OK too. They work such long hours, hope they get some rest but also hope they have support systems in place to look after themselves and their families.
Thanks for the post.
I also feel that HHC slowing down and lesser coverage of some current events (that still continue to go on (espite the reco to halt these), will actually help slow down events themselves with the lack of publicity for the content or the celebrity sightings there as being featured on HHC seems to be a fairly big deal.
Take care P&P and the rest of this community!
may be we can have some fun polls, trends etc
Also, if you are covering past events I think many South Indian celebrities were missed. May be we can look for fashion in other corners of India, not just Bollywood. I would love to expand my horizon. Not criticizing your blog π
Makes sense and thank you for posting. If you are taking posts of Work from Home fashion (pajamas, lulu’s etc – I am sure there will be plenty of folks who will supply that).
maybe you could post on celebs are they self isolate and what they are wearing at home (via the ista pics)…or fashion advice on what to wear as we self isolate…just a thought….
Good god no
Thanks for the shoutout to healthcare providers, many of whom are working without appropriate PPE. Thank you also to the teachers and educators who are trying to keep things going for our children and university students.
Be well and wear a bandana – officially sanctioned by the CDC!! (I am being sarcastic here – the irony of the situation is amazing – and that the US is unable to protect its healthcare workers, who will eventually be too sick to take care of the sick, is mind boggling). As a healthcare worker at a safety net provider, I cannot believe this is happening, and it is heartbreaking that we cannot provide relief for people with any condition that is essentially not urgent.
P and P thank you for keeping us going, giving us something else to think about, and a way to connect during this difficult time.
Let’s please revisit some missed WTHeyys! π
Stay well, everyone.
If you guys are up to it, maybe have some features on movie fashion? Like retrospectives from stylish movies like Silsila, Shan etc. or the trendsetting styles from different eras?
Yes – I also noticed in some recent movies, the looks were really elegant and noteworthy. I especially liked Shraddha Kapoor’s outfits in Chichhore and Taapsee Pannu + Dia Mirza’s in Thappad. I went online to look for posts, blogs, vlogs etc. on these, but noticed that there isn’t anyone covering in-movie looks.
[Or if I’m totally living under a rock, would like suggestions for where to check π ]
Hey P and P. Thanks for keeping this site going even in these trying times. Your sites provides much needed relief and levity in these times. Have been a loyal reader almost since the time you began this blog. Salute to all the health care workers and providers who are doing all they can to keep us safe.
Hi P&P, appreciate this post and hope you guys are staying safe too. My request is, could you do some compilations (in a similar vein to what you’ve done in the past) on either some current trends, or someone’s style evolution, or some saree files, or some other observations you guys have etc. Would really look forward to such posts.
Hi P&P
Thanks for the post. I have been reading your blog for the past 8 years. It’s my go to site for whenever I need a break from work or life in general. I just realized what a respite it brings me from all the horrible and terrifying news we’ve been hearing these days. Thanks for keeping it going. Stay safe. ?
I meant to end with a smiley face π
