  1. They both look lovely. And I love the fact that the ceremony took place at what looks to be the woods or a backyard; very charming!

    • Yes no demands for privacy and later a giant destination wedding with 5000 guests and 10,000 curated pictures 🙂
She looks absolutely real and lovely! Way to go!

    • That’s her mum’s 33 year old saree. The jewellery looks like it is from Tanishq.Thou an article mentions that the jewellery she is wearing are actually family heirlooms.

  2. I really loved Yami’s bridal looks. From the different functions to the actual ceremony, she kept it simple, traditional and stood out far and beyond the curated anarkalis and Sabya lehengas. Gorgeous!

  3. I’m sure we can compliment the couple without being sarcastic about other weddings.

I think people have the right to wear whatever they want and plan weddings with how many ever people they want to share their moments with.
Heck, my wedding had 1000 guests ( many I don’t even know) but looks like it was important to my parents and in laws.

    • While there is some truth to what you say I think some of the recent overly OTT celeb weddings that the commenters here refer to had so much flashy bling$ and brand$ sported by the couple and the guests that got quite excessive to digest, in addition to their curated pictures that, the simple elegance of this wedding feels like a breath of fresh air…I think thats the sentiment called out. Unfortunately because they are celebrities getting wedded, it is looked at, remembered and commented on more even if our own weddings were simple or extravagant.
