In Payal Singhal
Neha celebrated Eid at Jaaved Jaaferi’s house wearing a floral Payal Singhal churidaar kurta. Now, between the one-shoulder and all-over pattern, I shouldn’t be liking this look, but I do. Minus the beads, of course. With the high neckline, didn’t think she needed it.
You like the suit?

So this is ‘designer’ because she ‘designed’ decided to attach one sleeve and leave the other one out? If a regular tailor had done the same thing , it would be called ‘incomplete’ and no one would touch it with a 10 foot pole. If you take the other sleeve out, it does make a pretty printed sleeveless chudidaar suit but of course you wouldn’t feature it without the ‘celebrity’ or the ‘designer’ tag.
Well said ‘Mrsa’! Just because singhal removed one sleeve from the regular chudidhar, it became designer dress. And just because designer tag is attached, P&P featured it. If a regular tailor had done the same thing, anyone would throw it on his face.
Agree 100%
Also, no comment on the god-awful shiny clutch or the lackluster make-up? Truly there are different standards for different folks here…
True. Pathetic makeup, Weird clothes and shiny clutch.
Ali, are you referring to us as folks here?
Nope, to the celebs.
That kurta looks ridiculous to say the least !!
What’s next ? Churidar/legging on one leg ??

Lol
???? oh man, I didn’t think of this one!! Butbofciurse they will feature it if it comes with a designer tag and someone wears it..
LOL…clutching my pearls and thinking about one legged churidars. Of course worn with a high-slit kurta so that the celebrity can stick their leg out and pose!!!
Loll
Neha has lost it. She used to be a well dressed lady.
Mrsa
+100
Its been worn by a Bollywood “celebrity” (with God knows what her claim to fame) so we must appreciate it and compliment it 😛
Totally agree, most “dejuner” wear is pathetic. Tailors I know of in Delhi do a way better job, and get paid 5% of what these “dejyners” make. 99% of “dejuners” are overrated.
*dejyner
Printed churidaar? No no just no!
I disagree with most here… I think simplicity needs appreciation…designer or otherwise. She looks nice. Agree about the beads… but this simple suit is so refreshing in the age of floor length anarkalis we are seeing in abundance these days.
No!
