Wearing One’s Own

Don’t care for the design much but we’ll have to give props to Neeta for wearing her own creation. Whether she wore it well though is a whole different story. If you ask us, this tunic/dress would have looked so much better with tights and sandals. Those pants and pointed boots are awful!

  1. Omg, what is she thinking wearing those pants and shoes? =/ she looks relatively better, excluding the bottom half, then she would usually in western attire, but a decent garment cannot save you if u have no basic fashion knowledge and aesthetic .. It’s frustrating because she has such an amazing talent re. ethnic clothes… maybe she should stick to that, but she’s clearly not planning to considering majority of the time she’s weraing western attire… sigh… more torture, ass if we don’t get enough of it, and annoying more so when someone who has there forte (understanding ethnic and beautifully so 🙂 I cannot forget Jodhaa Akbar, her designs gave so much to the film, that’s why my respect for her talent makes me acknowledge her positives while critiquing her not so great points lol 😉 ) don’t value what they do know.. Or at-least acknowledge it and work on it but no.. no improvement here 🙁

Long comment, because J.A. almost compels me to give her that much importance. haha..

  3. I feel like maaaybe if she were a bit taller and the pants were more of a wide leg/flare leg I could get behind this. Til then, I can’t say this is a good look.
