Wearing a festive yellow and pink suit, Neerja partook in the festivities at the Ambanis’. Her accessories for the evening included a Dior clutch and matching metallic sandals. Not a thing to fault here, she looked nice.

This is festive, in every sense of the word. Colour-wise, fabric-wise..Of course, every person’s sensibilities are different. But certain things, like colours, fabric materials of festive clothings are typically traditional.

Does anyone else see that the shoes are a different shade of yellow? It’s driving me nuts.
Ditto with the handbag – the gold is different from the softer gold in the outfit.
I am guessing she has a billion bucks (and then some) as well… and yet doesnt need to flaunt it. Hmmm…. something about class?

Talking of baubles, I was reading that the treasuries of the Gaekwads of Baroda and likewise had these amazing collection of rare stones and designs, which unfortunately all eventually were auctioned off and landed with the Christie’s or so ( outside of India) or in the Middle East.
I hope besides the dollar value , the heirloom pieces stay within Indian soils or museums.
