The fact that you don’t call this cultural appropriation but when you do when someone tries out something western (black or white or Mexican) what a colonial mindset you have.
I for one think this is perfectly alright.. much like I find it okay when someone tries a sombrero. But I don’t hear the naysayers here.
Why are her sarees always sloppy.. women her era wore sarees best.. everything else too but especially sarees. If she’s unbothered about the dressing and detail it’s fine.
Never understood the Masaba brand’s association with the Tamizh language. Shed some light pls anyone?

She’s got to be the most unimaginative designer of our time. Nothing she has ever produced matched up to her first quirky prints.
